BIOGRAPHY

Charles Smith is a mechanical engineer with 45+ years of maintenance and engineering experience in petrochemical facilities. Charles was the Rotating Equipment Engineer for the BASF-TOTAL Petrochemicals LLC 2 BT/Yr ethylene steam cracker in Port Arthur, Texas. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. Additionally, he was with BASF Corporation for 27 years in Freeport, TX; Kuantan, Malaysia; Antwerp, Belgium; Geismar, LA; Port Arthur, TX. Charles supports OCI-USA with consulting services for the insurance carriers, adjusters, and their legal counsel.
